KOFI GAYLE-TENDAI

Kofi Scott Gayle-Tendai, a D.C. native, grew up knowing his place in the world was in the entertainment
field. Making home movies and creating music were among his favorite ways to pass time.

Upon graduation from Howard university with a Bachelors in Film and Media Arts and a double minor in
Music and Sociology, Kofi knew he wanted to continue his education in filmmaking at American
University.

Now with one festival selection on his resume with his short film Momma's Boy, and a selection to the
American University L.A. Intensive offered by the School of Communication, Kofi is looking forward to a
successful career in filmmaking.
