TAYLOR MOORE

Taylor Moore is a journalism graduate student specializing in broadcast at American University and a media assistant in the First Amendment Center for the Newseum in Washington, D.C.. She’s new to the world of journalism but is experienced in the art of storytelling. In the past, she has studied sociology focusing on race in media and society.

 

After graduating in 2015 she began working in politics. First, for Hillary for America headquarters in Brooklyn on the political team focusing on African American outreach.

 

Then, for the Democratic National Convention Committee in Philadelphia on the public affairs team. Most recently, she worked in film production in Atlanta while simultaneously working in political fundraising and event planning for a D.C. firm. She is enthusiastically looking forward to combining her sociopolitical and sociocultural knowledge as a future journalist for both television and print.
