CARLOS MACHER

Carlos E. Macher is a filmmaker and actor from Lima, Peru. Now in Washington, DC. In the United States he has served as segment producer for the TV documentary "Healing Baltimore's Harbor: A Pipe Dream" aired on PBS nationally. He produced and directed the television series "45 Willow Drive", the documentary "Third Act", served as assistant director for the series "Sam Dates," and collaborated as cinematographer in the series "The Crossroads" for Bertelsmann Foundation. In Peru, he worked as a director/producer on “Cuarto Cero”, “El Jardín Perdido” and the pilot series “Visiones”. Currently he is working in narrative and storytelling for new media, and served as an associate producer for the first volumetric period short-film "Vera".
