ADAM GOODMAN

(Former SOC Student)

Adam Goodman is the president of Le Vision Entertainment, a Chinese-based film production company. He is responsible for English-language original entertainment content. He is the former president of Paramount Pictures, where he served from 2009 to 2015. Upon leaving Paramount, he created Dichotomy, a film production company that now operates under the umbrella of Le Vision Entertainment.

Mr. and Mrs. Goodman met as students at AU. Mrs. Goodman graduated from the School of Communication in 1994. Mr. Goodman has served on the SOC Advisory Board and as an SOC Alumni Mentor. Mrs. Goodman also served as an SOC Alumni Mentor and was a member of the Phi Sigma Sigma sorority.

Mr. Goodman began his career as a production assistant with John Hughes at Hughes Entertainment while he was still a teenager in Highland Park, Illinois. He worked on projects such as Home Alone and Only the Lonely with Mr. Hughes.

In 2013 Mr. Goodman participated in an Entertainment and Media Alumni Alliance* event, serving on a panel discussing micro-financing in Hollywood.

Mr. and Mrs. Goodman hosted Dean Rutenbeck and Nada Maalouf in their home in 2015 and expressed interest in being of service to AU in the Los Angeles area.

They have at least one daughter and one son. Research was unable to confirm the ages, but they appear to be under 10 years old.

The couple are friends with Pamela Kaufman (BA/SOC/1985), the chief marketing officer and president of consumer products for Nickelodeon, and Adam Sher (BSBA/KSB/1992), the chief creative officer of Leftfield Entertainment.
